lifegarden was started by Pip trying to write music about stuff that feels important, releasing the debut album "Ecology, Love & Existential Dread" in 2024, funded by Creative Scotland. Three songs from this album were featured on the radio show "BBC Introducing Scotland", these songs were: Breathe, Gut Full Of Stones and Cremate Me.

The most recent single "Peace Manifest" is out now. It’s about war and an attempt to manifest a world without it.

After a number of band line-up changes due to peaceful and natural causes, We've now started recording a second album pretitled “Catharsis class”.

Part of the writing for this was done at a writing residency at Chateau De Sacy in Northern France, on the nice telecaster in Kate and Theodora’s flat in Paris and at Pips little studio at the Pianodrome warehouse, Edinburgh.
